Managed Care SWAT On SiteSM Training
Customized Individual Facility and Network Training
Strategies, Weapons, and Tactics to Help Your Facility Compete Within the Managed Care Environment
As managed care companies continue to frustrate providers by evading payments altogether or paying only a fraction of negotiated medical service fees owed, the Healthcare Association of New York State (HANYS) and its affiliate HANYS Services, Inc. (HSI) are responding to individual health care organizations' needs by bringing a customized version of their highly acclaimed Managed Care SWAT (Strategies, Weapons, and Tactics) TrainingSM to individual facilities and networks.
SWAT On Site (SOS) is an interactive educational program that is designed to address the challenges unique to your facility with respect to identifying risk points, minimizing managed care denials, and recapturing lost revenues.
Customized Education and Interactive Workshops
SWAT On Site training is held at your facility and you select the appropriate staff to attend each session. Using the information gathered during the interview phase, the SOS team will design a program unique to your facility. The three-to-four-day curriculum designed for you can be presented as concurrent programs, over consecutive days, or spread over several weeks if desired. The facility makes the determination based on what works best for those staff involved. The cost to bring SWAT on site to your facility is based on the length of the training, the number of attendees identified by the facility, and the faculty needed to deliver the program.
Course Topics
The curriculum will be designed around the following topical areas:
